Meet Amy, Founder of Alida Cleaning

Before starting Alida Cleaning, I spent 14 years working as a veterinary nurse in Adelaide, where I received training in chemical handling, infection control and detailed cleaning in sensitive environments.

After moving to regional NSW in 2022, I began working in residential cleaning and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. I loved the satisfaction of transforming a home, but even more than that, knowing the work I was doing was genuinely making someone’s week a little easier. That experience eventually led me to start Alida Cleaning.

Family is incredibly important to me, and that has shaped the kind of business I want Alida Cleaning to be. I understand how much time and energy goes into keeping a household running, and I love being able to take some of that workload away so our clients can spend their time elsewhere.

I take a lot of pride in the trust clients place in us when they welcome us into their homes. Whether it’s remembering the little things, taking extra care around pets, or simply making sure a home feels looked after when we leave, I want Alida Cleaning to be a service our clients genuinely feel comfortable relying on.
